I think this book was very memorable because it really shows you that it is possible to not be selfish and that caring for other people can actually do a lot of good to yourself. I think that being selfless is really important in a community because that way you can feel empathy for one another. Felling empathy for a person can strengthen your relationship with that someone and if everybody could be selfless and feel empathy then it would be easier to understand your community members. People could get along.
I really like how the book ended. It kind of left you hanging but it also left you well informed. At first I was a little disappointed at the ending but then I realized that if the author had written it any way it wouldn't have been as good as it was. I figured out afterwords that the whole story was leading up to that one key point. I would say that the very end of the story was the most important part and it the part that readers should remember.
Overall I think this has to be one of the best books I have read in a really long time (if not the best)! It was greatly written and provides a statement that should most definitely be heard by all teen readers who are in for a thrilling adventure to the top of the world.
